Blessed in Bangkok

So I’m finally here..!

The ride here was an experience in and of itself. My longest plane ride being 5 hours, I sure didn’t know what I was in for on a 13 hour flight. Luckily for me, I flew Korean Air. I have to say, hands down, that is the best airline I’ve ever flown on. Each seat, coach included, has their own individual touch screen television. There is also a remote that doubles as a full QWERTY keyboard, remote, and game system controller.

Not only could you pick your own movies, music, television shows, etc..; you could even view an interactive map that shows where the plane is flying at all times. It’s really interesting and helps you grasp the concept of time..which is very confusing to your body when you leave during the day and yet have no night because you reach the day on the other side of the world. Just thinking about that makes my brain hurt!

After being picked up at the airport and seeing my new humble abode, I could finally be totally at ease with the situation. No being sold into human trafficking!! YAY ME! =)

I couldn’t have asked for a better family..and the baby is the cutest little thing I’ve ever seen. We’ve already bonded and its only been one day. I actually got a lot accomplished today.. work permit fotos, cell phone, and bank account all ready to go!!

The family is also encouraging me to travel and see more of Thailand..so maybe a day trip on my day off will be in store in the near future!! =) Could life be any better?

I truly am..blessed in Bangkok..!

Here I go..

So the day has come.. October 28th, 2010. The day I start a new adventure. I have no idea what will be waiting for me on the other side..but I know the other side of that plane ride holds a very key part of my life. I think this experience is going to change my life; allow me to grow, change, learn, and love. I’m excited for everything this journey will bring. I really have no expectations and those are usually the ones that surprise you the most.

Look out Thailand..here I come!

How is it that you, yourself, can be sucked away from the light when in fact you, yourself, are trying to show someone the light. I guess I’m running into the same problems as organized religion, when I resort to arguing with someone about how they “should” live, in order to lead a happier life. It’s all in good intentions, yet somewhere in translation the point gets lost.

**Sidenote: I’ll be referring to “God” in posts to come, I’m sure, as the Divine power is a huge, important part of my life. For the record, I, in no way, commit to one religion fully. Rather, I take the positive messages from all and see their original leaders/creators as messengers of the Divine energy that guide and light all of our paths. So to my readers, whatever religion you may practice, I support the positive messages of your religion and believe in the All-Mighty, Divine Power, God or whatever you may call it on your side of the world, that brought us to this beautiful planet in which we all inhabit as ONE.

So, that being said, I pray to God for the strength to learn to accept the paths of others while still being a catalyst of spreading light and Divinity, without pushing my thoughts on others or without those thoughts being turned into argumentative points.

Go. Love. Learn. Experience. Accept.

Hello world!

Today I welcome myself into the blogging world..yet again..! I vowed I’d never do this again, after having a terribly confusing, difficult, and frustrating time with blogspot..yet here I am. No offense to blogspot users..it just didn’t attract me to blogging like I hoped it would. So here I am giving wordpress a shot. I’m hoping to keep a rather updated blog..let all you folks know whats going on in my life. I really, more than fill you in on the juicy details of my life, want to share my experiences with people, in hopes of showing that human beings from any country, our Earth, can make a difference, even if its just a simple smile. There are beautiful, loving, caring, amazing people in this world and I’m out to tell mine, as well as their stories, in hopes of spreading the light one blogger at a time. Enjoy..!
